  Larry Henley - Newbeats

The Arkansas group had 2 major hits in 1964 with "Bread & Butter", and Run Baby Run". Larry Henley, (lead singer), also wrote a Major #1 song in 1995 for that was recorded by Bette Midler. That song was "Wind Beneath My Wings". Larry owns a Publishing Company in Nashville and has been very active in the music Industry. Larry & his wife reside in the Nashville area.
This Texas native is the only singer that sang two songs in the "Girl Can't Help It". Johnny recorded on the Liberty Record label from 1959 to 1962. Johnny Olen has been a resident of Las Vegas since 1959.
This Denver native recorded on the Carlton Record Label. His first major hit was "Lonely For You" in 1959. His next hit credited to him was "Starry Eyed", which was actually recorded by a different artist. Gary now resides in Delaware.

Johnny Thunder

Johnny Thunder was one of the few performers that recorded on the Diamond label. Johnny, a native of Leesburg, Florida had a major hit in 1962 titled "Loop De Loop". Johnny and his wife still reside in Florida.
The Association was one of the top American Vocal groups of the British Invasion of the sixties. They had charted hits of "Wendy", "Cherish", and many others in that period. Jim is performing with Bruce Belland and Dave Sommerville as the YB&S Trio. Jim resides in Southern California.
This New York native has had more hits than most singers that are better known. He has sung in almost complete obscurity. Ron was the lead singer of the Detergents parody song, "Leader of the Laundromat"(`65), the Cuff Links with "Tracy" ('68) and the Archies with "Sugar, Sugar" ('69). Ron has aso been in countless commercials. He also sang background for many other stars including one of his idols, Bobby Darin. Ron produced Barry Manilow's first eight albums.
